Seven Skin Care Tips for Beautiful Skin

Everyone wants flawless, beautiful skin. It seems like that shouldn’t be so hard to accomplish. And yet, a huge industry has been build on the need to care for you skin. You will more than likely need to get some of the products designed to enhance the beauty and health of your skin. But here are seven tips that don’t necessarly need a big outlay of cash at the cosmetics counter.

Limit sun exposure

Spending a lot of time in the sun isn’t good for your skin. And all indications are that it isn’t getting any better. UV rays from the sun can dry and damage your skin. Repeated exposure for the purpose of deep tanning is incredibly unhealthy when it comes to your skin. This doesn’t mean you have to cover yourself from head to toe. Just be sensible about the time you spend outdoors without sunscreen.

Avoid cigarette smoke

Cigarette smoke isn’t good for you skin. Smoke dries and dehydrates your skin. I’m not picking on smokers. Long exposure to any smoke will have a negative effect on your skin. It just so happens that people avoid every other kind of smoke naturally. It’s only cigarette smoke in which people will congregate without a second thought.

Moisturize

The world will try to dry out your skin every day. There is no rest or reprieve from this. As you live and as you move about in the outside world, your skin is always drying out, not getting more moist and supple. You need to moisturize regularly (depending on your skin type) to keep dry skin and wrinkles away.

Cleanse

Keep your skin clean. Don’t use harsh soaps, but find good natural cleansers that work together with your particular skin type.

Stay fit

Exercise is great for your entire body. Did you know it helps your skin as well? Exercise keeps your skin supple and flexible. Sweating during your workout helps keep your pores flushed clean.

Stay rested

Getting too little sleep is the enemy of healthy-looking skin. If you’re burning your candle at both ends, try to take a break and get some rest.

Get a facial

Pamper your skin from time to time with a trip to the spa. Spending a few hours doing nothing but focusing on rejuvenating your skin will work wonders. And other will notice.
